Join us in celebrating the vibrant and diverse people of Adelaide with the “Faces of Adelaide” exhibition. This unique event features portraits captured in our restored 1960s vintage photobooth, creating a nostalgic mosaic of our community.

Exhibition Highlights

  • Vintage Photobooth Experience: Step back in time & take your own portrait in our authentic 1960s photobooth.
  • Community Art: See the faces of Adelaide come alive through hundreds of candid photos.
  • Free Event: Open to all ages, with a special 18+ RSVP-only opening night.
  • Free Enlarged Prints: Select participants will receive a free enlarged print of their photos after the exhibition.

How to Get Involved

Step 1: Visit the Photobooth

  • Drop by our vintage photobooth locations in the Adelaide CBD, available 7 days a week & take your photo for just $8.

Step 2: Upload Your Photo

  • Scan the QR Code: Use the QR code in the photobooth to access the submission form.
  • Upload: Submit your photostrip using the simple form provided at the bottom of this page. You’ll need to enter your name, contact details & agree to the terms & conditions.

Step 3: Participate Online

  • If you can’t visit the photobooth in person, you can still join:
    • Submit Online: Upload your scanned photostrip directly on our website through a simple form at the bottom of this page.
    • Email Submission: Alternatively, email your photostrip to boothbyatown@gmail.com with your name & consent.

What to Expect

By participating, you’ll:

  • Have your photo featured in the “Faces of Adelaide” exhibition.
  • Be eligible to receive a free enlarged print of your photo if selected.
  • Be part of a unique community art project celebrating Adelaide.
